Anthony Manning, CEO, School Infrastructure NSW

The NSW Government is injecting over $4.2 billion into new and upgraded school infrastructure over the next four years – the largest in NSW education history. In August 2017, Anthony was appointed as Chief Executive of Schools Infrastructure NSW, a centre of excellence for the planning, design, delivery and maintenance of school facilities. Prior to this appointment, Anthony played a key role at Health Infrastructure. Growing this highly successful enterprise from delivering $200 million of capital health projects per year in 2008 to currently more than $1 billion per year. This included the outsourcing of procurement for the Northern Beaches Hospital, reforming the way public health infrastructure and services can be delivered. Before emigrating from England in 2008, Anthony held key leadership positions at: Turner & Townsend – project delivery for the Department of Health (UK) and Project Director for the relocation and scoping of the 40,000m2 KPMG European headquarters to Canary Wharf, ensuring a successful acquisition costing GBP260 million.
