Dr Ben Cleveland, Senior Lecturer in Architecture at Faculty of Architecture, University of Melbourne

Dr Ben is a former primary and secondary teacher, now Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne, where he is Associate Director of the Learning Environments Applied Research Network (LEaRN). Ben is a Chief Investigator for the ARC Linkage Project, ‘Innovative Learning Environments + Teacher Change’ and acted as Research Manager for the ARC Linkage Project, ‘Evaluating 21st Century Learning Environments’. Other recent research has included leading a review of the Victorian Department of Education and Training’s school area guidelines and running a three-year program of learning environment evaluation for Catholic Education in Melbourne and Parramatta. Ben is the immediate past-Chair of the Victorian Chapter of Learning Environments Australasia and consulted as lead Educational Planner for the 15 new Victorian schools procured via Public Private Partnership.
